Dr Nasiri named one of the 2021-2022 Superstars of STEM by Science and Technology Australia

Congratulations to Dr Nasiri who has been named an official Superstar of STEM!

Noushin joins a group of 60 brilliant, diverse and inspiring women who will participate in the program from 2021-2022. This program aims to raise the profile of Australia’s most dynamic women in science and technology, to create a national critical mass of strong, visible, relatable and public women who are role models in STEM. The program strives to:

  • Support 60 women employed in a range of roles in STEM to become highly visible public role models.

  • Build the public profile of these women through training in public speaking, media and communicating with influence.

  • Empower participants to share their story and their work with general audiences.

  • Build confidence in a range of professional settings.

  • Directly encourage young women and girls to study and stay in STEM, by program participants speaking with them in their schools and workplaces and by providing prominent public role models for them to aspire to.
