NASA’s innovations are not limited to hardware technologies. Sophisticated software tools developed by its scientists have also changed the lives of millions. The software it designed to manage complex space systems was used to develop the swipe-card devices we use every day.

Fifty years ago, on July 20, the science fiction fantasy became the reality when Neil Armstrong walked on the surface of the moon; and now, we should be wondering how different life would be without the many NASA technologies that are taken for granted.
